Steamed apple sponge pudding with blackberry sauce by Hairy Bikers

A delicious steam pudding was served up by the Hairy Bikers on today’s A to Z of cooking. It was a steamed apple sponge pudding with blackberry sauce that looked so easy to make.

For the ingredients they used: 400g blackberries, 150g butter, softened, 150g golden caster sugar, 1 lemon, zest and juice, 3 free-range eggs, lightly beaten, 175g self-raising flour, 300g Bramley apples, peeled, cored removed, cut into 2cm pieces and 175g blackberry jam.
