James Martin served up a tasted herb crusted cob with mussels on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.
The ingredients are: 50g butter, 1 onion peeled and diced, 2 cloves garlic peeled and chopped, 2 bay leaves, 100ml double cream, 100ml white wine, 2 kilo mussels, cleaned, Salt and pepper, 2 tbs chopped parsley and Knob of butter.
For the herb crust: Breadcrumbs from the cob, 1 large bunch of parsley, 50g grated comte and 50g grated parmesan.
To serve: 1 large cob loaf hollowed out.
