Gok Wan served up a tasty chicken katsu Japanese curry on This Morning.
The ingredients are: 2 skinless chicken breast fillets, 50g plain flour, 2 eggs, beaten, 100g panko breadcrumbs and about 50ml vegetable oil, for frying.
For the curry sauce: 2 tbsp vegetable oil, 1 large white onion, 3cm piece root ginger, 2 large cloves garlic, 1 heaped tbsp medium curry powder, 2 tbsp plain flour, 1 tsp ground turmeric, 400ml chicken stock, Half an apple, peeled and grated, 2 – 4 tbsp coconut milk, 1 tbsp light soy sauce, About 1 tbsp honey, 125g white rice, cooked following packet instructions, Salt and pepper.
To serve: Sliced spring onion and chillies and Coriander leaves.
