Rustie Lee served up a delicious ginger cake with muscovado sugar, stem ginger and golden syrup on This Morning.
The ingredients are: 275g plain flour, 1½ tsp baking powder, 2 tsp nutmeg, 3 tsp ground ginger, 4 pieces stem ginger, chopped, 115g butter, softened, 115g muscovado sugar, 200g golden syrup and 2 large eggs.
For the syrup: 400ml water, 225g granulated sugar and 2 tsp vanilla bean paste.
