Tonia Buxton served up a delicious fig and almond cake with orange blossom yoghurt on Sunday Brunch.
The ingredients are: 200g butter, 75g brown sugar, 3 large free-range eggs, 180g ground almonds, 100g wholemeal flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, seeds of 1/2 vanilla pod, 3 tsp ground cinnamon, 100g Greek Yoghurt and 12 figs fresh or dried.
For the ornge blossom yoghurt: 100g Greek Yoghurt, 25g icing sugar or 1 tablespoon honey and 4-5 tablespoon of orange blossom water.
