Nadia Sawalha Greek biscuits with almonds and brandy recipe on Nadia’s Family Feasts

Nadia Sawalha and Asimakis Chaniotis served up delicious Greek biscuits with almonds and brandy on Nadia’s Family Feasts.

The ingredients are: 100g blanched almonds, 250g unsalted butter, cut into cubes, 150g icing sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 50ml brandy, 1 large free range egg yolk, ¼ teaspoon grated nutmeg, 250g plain flour, 150g self raising flour, ½ teaspoon baking powder, Pinch of sea salt, 3 Tablespoons water, 1 Tablespoon orange blossom water and 200g extra icing sugar, sieved.
