The ingredients are: 250g white caster (superfine) sugar, 15g dried lavender, 250g unsalted butter, 1 tsp vanilla bean paste, 360g plain (all-purpose) flour, Purple food colouring dust, 1 egg white and Edible violas in a variety of colours (Juliet uses purples).
