James Martin served up sausage and mash with braised onions in a Guinness sauce on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.
The ingredients are: 12 pork sausages and 25ml veg oil.
For the braised onions: 4 onions, peeled and halved, 25g butter, 15ml veg oil, Salt and pepper, 400ml Guinness and 200ml beef stock.
For the wild garlic mash: 1 kilo Maris Piper potatoes, peeled boiled and put through a ricer, 100g butter, 100ml double cream, 1 bunch wild garlic, sliced, Salt and white pepper.
