James Martin served up tasty lamb shanks with flageolet beans and Parmesan polenta on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.
The ingredients are: 50 ml olive oil, 50g butter, 6 lamb shanks, 2 onions, peeled and diced, 4 cloves garlic, sliced, 1 bay leaf, 750ml red wine, 400ml veal stock, 2 tbsp tomato puree, 2 x 400g tinned chopped tomatoes, 400g flageolet beans, drained and 1 small bunch parsley chopped.
For the polenta: 175g quick polenta, 100g butter and 100g grated parmesan.
