Phil Vickery served up tasty tartare sauce, curry sauce and mushy peas for homemade sides for fish & chips on This Morning.
The ingredients for the mushy peas: 225g dried green or marrowfat peas, Salt and black pepper and 50g unsalted butter.
For the curry sauce: 4 tbsp vegetable oil, 1 large onion, chopped, 2 garlic cloves, crushed, 3-4 tbsp mild Madras curry powder, 2-3 tbsp plain flour, 2 x 10g chicken stock cubes, 1 tbsp tomato puree and 2-3 tbsp mango chutney.
