Nigel Barden served up a herby vegetarian casserole with using a recipe by Lisa Goodwin-Allen on Radio 2 Drivetime with Simon mayo.
The ingredients included: 100g pearl barley, 80g onion (approx. 1 onion), finely diced, 80g celeriac, finely diced, 80g carrot (approx 1 medium carrot), finely diced, 2 garlic cloves, finely diced, 350ml/g good quality veg stock, 100ml/g white wine, 2tbsp mixed chopped soft herbs (chervil, parsley, chives) and mush rooms.
