James martin served up a lemon verbena cake with cream and strawberry jam on Saturday Morning with James Martin.
The ingredients are: 250g butter, softened, 250g caster sugar, 4 large eggs, 250g self-raising flour and a few sprigs of lemon verbena.
For the jam: 50g caster sugar and 300g strawberries, hulled and halved.
To finish: 500ml double cream, whipped, 100g strawberries, some halved and icing sugar.
