Juliet Sears served up flamingo bakes including ‘Pool float’ donuts, flamingo meringue and cup cakes on This Morning.
The ingredients for the donuts are:
6 ring doughnuts, 1 packet/ 340g pink candy melts, 300g pink ready to roll fondant icing, a small amount of yellow ready to roll icing (to make the eyes), edible black paint or pen for the beak and eye detail.
For the meringue: 175g golden caster sugar, 3 large egg whites, at room temperature, 1 tsp vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, Pink food colouring pastes or gels if using, Pink butter cream icing to glue the meringues together and Mikado wafer sticks, to be used as legs for the flamingo.
