Today Nigel Slater brings the taste of Christmas to our screens in Nigel’s 12 Taste Of Christmas.
He kicks of this episode with a delicious looking cranberry sausages nibble, perfect for the Christmas dinner table or used for that all important party food.
Nigel makes his cranberry sausages by frying sliced red onions in a pan with oil for five minutes or so until softened. He then adds sausages to the pan.
As the sausages start to brown, he adds jelly and cranberries.
He cooks the contents of the pan on a low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until caramelised and sticky.
He finish the dish by putting grated clementine zest over it.
