Michael Smith served up Clapshot and whisky sauce for a Burns Night feast on This Morning.
The ingredients for the clapshot are: 500g turnip (swede) peeled and roughly chopped, 1 medium onion, peeled and diced, 500g potatoes, (floury are best) peeled and quartered, 70ml double cream, 6 spring onions, finely chopped, 70g butter, diced, Rresh chives, Salt and pepper.
For the whisky sauce: 500ml double cream, half a lamb stock cube, dissolved in little water from boiled kettle, 2 tsp wholegrain mustard, 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 2 tsp whisky, Curly parsley, finely chopped and ½ lemon, juice only.
