Nadiya Hussain served up a delicious strawberry milkshake funfetti birthday cake that is perfect for kids on Radio 2 Nadiya’s Festive Family Feast.
The ingredients are: 250g unsalted butter, softened, 250g caster sugar, 250g free-range eggs, weighed in their shells (about 4 medium eggs) and 250g self-raising flour, sieved.
For the strawberry Swiss meringue buttercream: 3 medium free-range egg whites, 250g caster sugar, pinch salt, 300g unsalted butter, softened and cubed, 3 tbsp strawberry milkshake powder.
For the decoration: 75g rainbow-coloured sprinkles and 3 strawberry-filled sandwich biscuits, cut in half.
