Phil Vickery served up a not very nice looking bloodthirsty brain cake for Halloween on This Morning.

The ingredients are: 300g soft unsalted butter, 300g caster sugar, 5 medium eggs, beaten well, 2 tsp vanilla extract and 300g self raising flour.

For the butter cream: 175g icing sugar, 75g soft unsalted butter, 2 tsp water, 4 tbsp seedless raspberry jam, 750g nude coloured fondant icing and redcurrant jelly, to glaze.
