Michael Caines served up a tasty lamb and lentil curry on today’s episode of Lorraine.
The ingredients: 40ml vegetable oil, 500g stewing lamb, cubed, 1½ tsp Madras curry powder, ¼ tsp cumin seeds, 1 garlic clove, crushed, 100g carrot, diced, 70g leek, diced, 60g onion, chopped, 80g puy lentils, or lentils of your choice, 1.2 litres water, 1 tbsp chicken bouillon, 1 small bouquet garni (bay leaf, parsley stalk, thyme, leek, celery tied with string into a small bouquet), Salt and pepper.
