Nigel Barden served up a tasty goat’s cheese and caramelised onion tart with Jack’s Bean Patties using recipes from The Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain on Radio 2 Drivetime.
The ingredients for goat’s cheese and caramelised onion tart are: 450g puff pastry, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 large red onion, thinly sliced, 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar, 1 tsp soft brown sugar, 150g goat’s cheese, diced and salt and black pepper.
For Jack’s bean patties: 2 x 400g can butter beans, drained and rinsed, 100g breadcrumbs, 1Ž2 tsp paprika, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp mild curry powder, Handful of coriander, leaves and stems, roughly chopped, 1 tsp salt and 2 eggs.
