Omar Allibhoy served up a tasty slow-cooked Spanish lamb stew on This Morning using a recipe from his new book: Spanish Made Simple: Foolproof Spanish Recipes For Every Day – available at Amazon.
The ingredients are: 1kg Diced Lamb, A Pinch of Ground Cumin, 100g (3/4 Cup) Plain (all Purpose) Flour, 175ml (3/4 Cup) Olive Oil, 2 Large Carrots Cut Into Thin Strips, 1 Large Onion, Cut Into Thin Strips, 3 Garlic Cloves Thinly Sliced, 1 Red (bell) Pepper, Cut Into Thin Strips, ½ Green (bell) Pepper, Cut Into Thin Strips, A Few Bay Leaves, 1 Sprig of Fresh Thyme, Plus Extra to Garnish, 4 Tomatoes, Peeled and Chopped, A Pinch of Sugar, 1 Tsp Sweet Pimenton (sweet Smoked Paprika), 200ml (3/4 Cup) White Wine, Salt and Black Pepper and Fried Diced Potatoes, to Serve.
