James Martin served up a delicious foolproof soufflé dessert on This Morning.
The ingredients for the banana ice cream are: 4 very ripe bananas, peeled, cut into chunks, ¼ tsp vanilla extract, 3 tbsp sugar, honey or sweetener, to taste and 150ml buttermilk (or yoghurt).
For the toffee bananas: 4 ripe banana, peeled and cut in half lengthways, 100g caster sugar, 100ml cream and 100g butter.
For the soufflé: 50g butter, 3 tbsp caster sugar, 4 tbsp ready-made custard, 4 egg whites and 1 tbsp softened butter and 1 tbsp caster sugar for ramekins.
To serve: 4 tbsp freshly chopped mint.
