Celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott joined presenter Rachel Riley on The Gadget show to help test the latest smart ovens as part of The Gadget show’s Christmas Special.

The duo carried out a cooking test on the ovens to see which would cook the best Christmas meal.

The ovens tested were:

The MIELE H 6860 BP – It has MoisturePlus technology, self cleaning, 76L capacity and retails at RRP £2,900.

ELECTROLUX EOB88741AOX – It has PureSteam mode, self cleaning, 73L capacity and its best price is £829.92.

PANASONIC HL-BY62S – This is a more conventional oven that was given 5 stars by WHICH. It has 11 cooking functions, self cleaning, 72L capacity and retails at £999.00.

Each oven was used to cook a Christmas meal that included a Turkey crown.

After hours of cooking and eating, Ainsley and Rachel concluded that the oven that cooked the food best was the MIELE.
