Channel 4 is set to launch a new program next year called The Jump, which is to be hosted by the lovely Davina McCall from the Million Pound Drop.

The Jump will be a live prime-time event show, shown over 10 nights in early 2014 staged from a mountainside in Europe where we will see 12 celebrities confront their fears and compete in a series of nerve shattering and dangerous winter sports.

Speaking about her new venture, Davina said: “The Jump is going to be amazing – the scenery, the challenge and the sheer grit needed to compete will make it gripping viewing!”

The famous faces will be trained by expert coaches and Olympians in some of the most terrifying winter sports including skiing, bobsleigh, skeleton, slalom and ski jumping.
