Kim Kardashian  and Kanye West  announced their engagement this week and sources claimed that Kardashian received a giant diamond valued by one expert at $8 million.

The American television personality, fashion designer, model, and actress, was taken by surprise when fiance Kanye West hired out an entire baseball stadium to propose to her on Monday.

The 33-year-old revealed to E! that she is ‘the luckiest girl in the world,’ in her first statement since 36-year-old West popped the questioned.

‘Last night was truly magical!!! I am the luckiest girl in the world!’ the reality star said. ‘I get to marry my best friend!’

However, the couple has not even sealed the deal yet at the altar but already there is talk about how long their marriage will last. Online bookmaker Paddy Power puts the odds the marriage lasting less than two years at 2-1.

These days no one really holds their breath for long lasting celebrity marriages, but given the size of the diamond and that West proposed on Kardashian’s 33 birthday, we think their relationship will sale past 2 years – but only just.
