Former Manchester United football star David Beckham, has finally responded to criticism levelled at him by his former boss Sir Alex Ferguson in his recent autobiography.
Ferguson revealed how the pair’s relationship broke down after Beckham’s marriage and why he decided to sell the midfield player.
In a recent interview with Jake Humphrey, Beckham hinted that he felt let down by his former manager’s decision to be so candid in public.
Ferguson said that he decided to sell Beckham because the player “thought he was bigger” than those around him.
However, Beckham – who his also promoting his own book – declared that he refuse to be negative about the former United boss because of the opportunities he gave him. See his interview in the video below:
