The new series of Got To Dance kicked off on a Saturday night in late summer for the first time with host Davina Mccall and judges Ashley Banjo, Kimberley Wyatt and Adam Garcia in search of an act worthy of the £250,000 cash prize and the title of Got To Dance 2014.
Amongst the first dance groups that go in front of the panel this weekend are the boyband dancers, Boombox Barbies, Academy of Base, The Zap Cossacks, Glam and Babes with Beats.
Solo acts and duos includes Salsa Medics, Swag-A-Holic, Andrea Paloni and Chloe Birmingham all taking to the stage.
Acts needed three gold stars from the judges to progress where they’ll have to perform again and win their way into the live shows on one of the judges’ teams.
The stakes are high as the eventual winner will embark on a life changing journey, following in the footsteps of previous Got To Dance Winners, Akai, Chris and Wes, Prodijig and Lukas McFarlane.
