On a night when some performances felt a little disappointing, too well deserved winners emerged. The Luminites and Welsh school kids Pre-Skool were voted through as winners of Britain’s Got Talent third semi-final and will now go to the live finals in June.
Once again nine acts competed for the chance to perform for the queen and the £250,000 prise found. But it was dancer Joseph Hall, singers Luminites and kids dance crew Pre-Skool who finished in the top three.
Ant and Dec then went on to reveal the outcome of the public vote.
As the most popular act with the viewers, Luminites went automatically through to the final.
Pre-Skool and Joseph Hall then had to compete for the judges vote.
Both David Walliams and Simon Cowell backed the young dance troupe, while Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden saved Joseph, leading to deadlock.
The decision then returned to the original viewers’ vote, in which Pre-Skool came out on top.
Luminites and Pre-Skool will now join Arisxandra Libantino, Richard and Adam, Jack Carroll and Gabz in the final.
