It could be third time lucky for dance troupe MD productions after failing to make the live final in 2007 and 2009.
Tonight the dance group from Liverpool delivered a semi-finals performance that they hope will see them through to the final and a chance to win the £250,000 cash prize and to perform for the Queen.
The group, founded by choreographer Miguel Doforo in 2001, impressed the judges and audience members at their audition with a routine inspired from their smash hit Beyoncé tribute show ‘Crazy Right Now’ .
Tonight the dance troupe served up a fire-storm of energy with great staging that not only impressed us but the judges too, well except for Simon, who I don’t thing really like them at all.
David Walliams told the dancers: “In a word, fierce. We all liked you apart from the funny little man on the end. I think you really bounced back from his criticism.”
Amanda added: “I love you, I’ve always loved MD productions, you are all mentalists… They you’re looking at me know, you’re so intense and that intensity really came through tonight.”
Simon concluded: “If I’m being honest with you, I wouldn’t have all of you in the group. The kids group that we saw yesterday, even though they were much younger than you, they were much better. I’m not jumping out my chair.”
