On Wednesday night’s Britain’s Got talent live semi-finals, impressionist Paul Burling secured his place in the finals by wining the most public votes, leaving the judges to decide between the singing accountant and dance troupe Peridot.
The father-of-two, who has been honing his skills for 25 years recreated Harry Hill’s TV Burp by re-enacting clips from TV and films, including Phil Mitchell from Eastenders and Wallace from Wallace and Gromit.
Judges Comments:
Piers Morgan: “There have never been enough comedians and if you don’t make the final it will be a total travesty. You are the best impressionist we’ve had.”
Amanda Holden: “I love that you’ve worked 25 year and honed your act. You were brilliant tonight, bloody brilliant! I want you in the final, please vote for Paul.”
Simon Cowell: “You’ve worked 25 years for this opportunity. The problem with TV at the moment is that it’s snobby. People want fancy French instead of fish and chips. I like fish and chips, you’re fish and chips and you should be in the final.
I my opinion Paul is a bit of fresh air. We need more like him on the telly, on dark damp nights to cheer us up.
interesting article ! thank very much.
