Francine Lewis’s impressions were a big hit with the judges at her Britain’s Got Talent audition.
The 35 year old impressionist took to the stage to perform for Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon earlier this year and made a lasting impression it would seem.
Francine who have been doing impressions since the age of 5, is no stranger to performing in front of a live audience. The Impressionist is also an actress, and she has a string of stage productions to her credit including Aladdin, Bugsy Malone, Minstral Spectacular ’95, Snow White and Babes in the Wood.
On stage Francine impersonated Katie Price, Amy Childs and former X Factor contestant Stacey Solomon for the BGT judges.
Simon later said he was already a fan of the impressionist who had previously appeared on Channel 4’s Very Important People.
“I know you, we’ve met before.,” he told her, adding after the audition: “You have star quality, you’re special.”
A pal of Francine’s told the Daily Mirror previously: “She was very pleased that her act went down so well with Simon. They actually have a few mutual friends and she’s always been very fond of him.
“She even joked before she went on the show that she was just his type.”
