We all remember the Susan Boyle audition a few years ago when she stunned the nation with her singing ability that no one was expecting. Well, in my opinion 11-year-old Alexander is the person who has come closest to match that audition since.
The young singer blue the judges – Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Welliams – away with her performance at her Manchester audition in a way that no one would have predicted.
Singing “One Night Only” from the musical Dreamgirl, Alexandra showed composer and confidence way beyond her years. The power and control of her voice is amazing to hear and it left the judges and the Manchester audience totally amazed.
Speaking on the ITV this morning program, Alesha said “An 11 year old little should not be able to sing with that much maturity.”
Amanda Holden added “It’s one of those moments that will define the show. We may be watching history in the making”.
