Futuristic robotic dance act Area 51, split the judges on tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals after performance to the Prodigy track ‘Invaders must die’.
To our surprise, it was Simon Cowell who was the only judge totally on side with this act tonight, the other judges were not totally approving. This is what they had to say:
DAVID WALLIAMS: It was certainly different, I actually found it terrifying. It’s an amazing act, I don’t know if the Queen will like it but a fantastic act…very different!
ALESHA DIXON: Visually you look spectacular. I feel the same way about you as Fish, I could see you more at a festival or exhibition, but I’m not sure you are destined for the Royal Variety.
AMANDA HOLDEN: Technically it’s spectacular, but there is no substance to it. It looks good on the surface but there is nothing going on underneath.
SIMON COWELL: I love this act, it is all the kids and all the things I liked when I got older. I’d almost like to buy you and have you performing in my house all the time as real life toys.
