This year, there has been a slight change to the Britain’s Got Talent live show dates.
In previous years the live finals have run from Monday to Friday before a final on Saturday, but for 2012 the semi-finals will air from Sunday to Thursday according to the ITV schedule.
The first semi-final will have a two hour slot from 8PM until 10PM on Sunday May 6, while the weekday shows will run from 7:30PM-9PM, followed by a separate results show at 9:30PM.
Each of the episodes will feature nine acts, up on last year’s eight, making a total of 45 performers across the week. Guest stars will perform during the results, with X Factor judge Tulisa and boy band The Wanted already confirmed.
Judges David Walliams, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden will give their comments and the public will decide who goes through to the grand final.
Details for the grand final itself has yet to be confirmed.
