Britain’s Got Talent 2012 Sam Kelly wowed judges at his audition

Teenager Sam Kelly from Spixworth, made a big impression at his Britain’s Got Talent audition wowing the judges and crowed alike.

The 19-year-old sang and played his guitar delivering his rendition of ‘Make You Feel My Love’ by Adele at the Manchester auditions.

Speaking to the judges, Sam reveals: “I grew up in rural Norfolk, and farming background and never really fitted in with the working bracket of my family because I’m pretty much useless at everything except music.”

The performance of the track moves the judges close to tears, while everyone in the room is left in silence.

“You know it’s the way you approach the song, it was so delicate, it felt really genuine and honest and that was a beautiful moment – so well done,” a teary Alesha told the teenager.

Amanda added: “I don’t know what it was but I’ve never felt quite so moved. Yeah it was beautiful.”

Simon said: “I’ve gotta tell you Sam, when you’ve got absolute silence in a room like this, you’ve nailed it.

“I think you’ve got an amazing voice.”
