Carmen Electra has joined the Britain’s Got Talent 2012 judging panel as a guest judge for this week’s London auditions, it has been revealed.
The Baywatch star is standing in for Amanda Holden until she is well enough to her return to the show.
The 39-year-old rose to fame as a glamour model, posing for Playboy, before breaking into TV alongside former Britain’s Got Talent judge David Hasselhoff in US series Baywatch.
Carmen will join Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon as auditions hit London this week, with try outs being held at the Hammersmith Apollo.
“Simon took a fancy to Carmen and decided to fly her over,” a source told the Daily Mirror today.
“She looks great and is very ¬opinionated, but there is a concern from some of the BGT production crew that she will not be the most familiar face to all the viewers.
“But as usual, what Simon says, he usually gets.”
