A3, a street dance act from Swansea, Wales made up of three brothers, 13-year-old Amukheani, 19-year-old Arnold and 15-year-old Anthony, took Britain’s Got talent by storm by delivering a brilliant performance dancing to Michael Jackson’s song ‘Jam’.
The trio received a standing ovation from the audience following their performance.
Before going on stage, they told presenters Ant and Dec: “We are A3. We are all brothers and we’ve been dancing ever since we were born. We live at home in Swansea with our mum. We drive her crazy with always practicing at home in the living room. We love the feeling of expressing ourselves together as brothers, the connection, you feel it there when we dance together,” .
Oldest brother Arnold explained: “I’m just grateful that they are my brothers, it’s something that I treasure every day. It’s just a privilege to be sharing this experience with them.”
After their impressive audition performance, the trio were very emotional and in a flood of tears.
“Why are you so emotional guys?” Piers asked the trio.
Arnold replied: “It just means so much and we’ve practiced so hard as a family. It’s all we want to do.”
And it looked like the practice paid off with Simon telling the group they had natural talent but they should work on providing a better structure to their routine. However, they had done enough to impress the judges on the night; they were put through to the next round.
