The wait is over for Jai McDowall, because finally he his presented with a recording contract from Simon Cowell.
The Syco boss has given the Britain’s Got Talent 2011 winner a record deal, almost 3 months after the series finished in June. The 24-year-old had been left uncertain about his future, with Simon signing runner up Ronan Parke just days after the competition ended.
An insider said: “Jai was worried that he would be overshadowed by Ronan, but thankfully he’s now got his own deal.
“Simon is creatively choosing songs for him and is working closely on his Royal Variety Show performance, which will be a great launch pad for him.”
