Les Gibson and James Hobley made it through to the Britain’s Got Talent 2011 live final after finishing in the top three along with bell ringers Gay and Alan.
Les Gibson went through automatically after securing the public vote following his a impressions of Lord Sugar, Gordon Ramsey and Louis Walsh. Meanwhile dancer James Hobley secured the judges votes with three judges voting for him and only Amanda voting for Gay & Alan. This is what the judges said before making their decision:
David Hasself: “Gay and Alan you are very lovely and entertaining. James, you are an absolute inspiration. My vote is absolutely James.”
Michael McIntyre: “I think James is a sensation dancer and persona and I’m a little bit obsessed with him. Having said that watching Gay and Alan’s performance back it was quite impressive. Only one of you can go through and it’s going to be James.”
Amanda Holden: This evening I loved both performances. Gay & Alan I honestly think you both brought something different to the show, we’ve never seen anything like it. James, stunning, you’re a beautiful dancer and your story is inspirational. One of the main prizes for this show is to perform in front of the Queen and so I’m going to choose what I think that she would like to see so I’m voting for Gay and Alan.”
Simon Cowell: “I’m going to take everything back to planet earth and on planet earth our royal family would like to see James.”
Speaking about winning the semi-final, Les told Ant and Dec: “It feels fantastic. I’d just like to thank everyone for voting for me, it’s overwhelming, it’s been great to get the chance to perform on stage.”
With three votes to one, James won the second place in Saturday’s Britain’s Got Talent’s final.
i think new bounce should win because they’re really good and my vote is for NEW BOUNCE.
