Next week 40 acts will go through to the live stages of Britain’s Got Talent, with 8 competing in 5 semi-final shows.
The live semi finals will air every day between Monday May 30 and Friday June 3. In each show 8 acts will perform and the public will vote for their favourite. The one act with the most votes will automatically go through, while the judges will decide which of the next two top placed acts will join them.
10 acts will therefore take part in the grand final on Saturday, June 4 on ITV1.
The first confirmed acts for this year’s live shows have been revealed this week in the latest issue of magazine RadioTimes. A selection of the top 40 acts – most of them somewhat predictable – have taken part in a special photoshoot ahead of the live shows next week. They included:
Donelda Guy with dogs Biba and Mega, young dancer James Hobley, 12-year-old singer Ronan Parke and breakdancer Razy Gogonea.
Britain’s Got Talent favourite Michael Collings has also made it through.
Some of the more bizarre choices are Grace Bruce and sister Chloe, who performed martial arts together in a short clip shown earlier in the series. Steven Hall, who dances and mimes to a range of tracks, has also made it into the top 40.
