Seven year old Robbie Firmin amazed the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel – Amanda Holden, Michael McIntyre and Louis Walsh ( who was standing in for David Hasselhoff ) – when he belted out a lovely rendition of Frank Sinatra’s ‘My Way.’
Wearing a hat that’s too big for him, Robbie Firmin sings the Sinatra classic at the London audition to an amazed audience.
Before he goes on stage, Robbie reveals: “It’s my mum’s birthday soon and I want to give her the best birthday present ever – winning Britain’s Got Talent.
“I want to make my family the proudest family that’s ever been.”
The little lad also tells Louis Walsh that his aunt is looking for a boyfriend, adding: “And I think she would want you to be it.”
However, after hearing Robbie sing, Louis said: “Robbie, that was fantastic. I’ve never heard anybody so young sing that song.”
Fellow judge Michael McIntyre adds: “Robbie, I thought that was just brilliant. It had everything.
“You toyed with the audience, they were up, they were down, they were swaying. Robbie, you’re a star.”
And Amanda Holden says: “You were fantastic. It was fabulous.”
