TDK Remix, a martial arts trio from East London – Harwinder,25, Rajveer, 14, and Thangaes, 13 – split the judging panel with their blend of Taekwondo meets Bollywood dancing routine.
Their routine consisted of lots of kicks, punches and chopping of wood blocks. However, they failed to make an impression on judge Michael McIntyre. Looking slightly irritated, Michael commented:
“Listen you’ve made a mess of the stage, you have no respect for chopping boards, your outfits don’t quite match, you were sort of all over the place, then you were dancing…”
But guest judge Louis Walsh, who was filling in for The Hoff, seemed more keen and added:
“You put a smile on my face I wasn’t expecting that….but I enjoyed it.”
Amanda Holden seemed impressed too and said:
“You are very light on your feet Mr Man in the middle. You’re ferocious and very fast. It was like a massive rush.”
After the judges comments TDK Remix looked relieved as they were sent through to the next round with two yes votes.
