Michael Collins Britain’s Got Talent 2011 Could be the Next Susan Boyle

Britain’s Got Talent kicks off on our TV screens tonight for the start of the 2011 series. It comes with a new judging panel line up for the audition phase. Out goes Piers Morgan and Simon Cowell and in come Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff to keep the lovely Amanda Holden company.

As usual we can look forward to a feast of silly and eccentric acts, but there is always a few jewels in amongst the mix. One such person would be Michael Collins.

Michael Collins is a 19-year-old IT engineer who prides himself for living in a ‘posh’ caravan park ‘because you need a key-card to enter’. His demeanour and appearance strikes you as a no hoper but don’t let that fool you. It’s the Susan Boyle experience all over again.

 After he delivers a memorable performance of Tracy Chapman’s Fast Car, he caused a storm among the judges. Later he is dubbed by Holden as the next Susan Boyle.
