Hayashi, a 36-year-old University lecturer stunned the crowd as he chops cucumbers with a Samurai sword attached to the head of his helper whilst blind folded on Britain’s Got Talent.
Hayashi told presenters Ant and Dec:
“Simon is always saying he would like to see more dangerous stunts. What I’m about to do today is the most dangerous thing he will ever see. It’s a blind Samurai sword act, there is a very real chance of my helper being injured or killed.”
“You’re cool with that?” Ant asked the helper, which was replied with a nervous nod.
Hayashi was then blindfolded by a member of the studio audience after showing the judges that his sword was sharp. The helper had cucumbers attached to his body which Hayashi chopped up blindfolded to the amazement of everyone watching.
Despite buzzing the act and calling it crazy in the early stages, Simon could only muster a “bloody hell” when it came to the comments.
Piers added: “I really liked, you were compelling to watch.”
Amanda commented: “It was my kind of act. It was terrifying, dangerous, it was exciting!”
The guy with the cucumber on his head is either brave or stupid.
