Olivia Archbold, a 14 year old singer from Merseyside was “overwhelmed” by the response to her jaw-dropping TV performance.
Olivia, from Newton-le-Willows, sang a version of Sarah McLaughlan’s Angel for her audition at Manchester Opera House.
Her singing impressed judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers.
The 14-year-old said she sang in memory of her nan Elsie, who died last October.
Simon Cowell to her:
‘You sang that so well, you really made that song your own. I am so impressed with you, Olivia, that I can’t even tell you.’
Despite her impressive performance on Britain’s Got talent, Olivia Archbold has admitted that she always wanted to be a dancer, until she discovered she could sing.
