Tobias Mead wowed the judges and studio audience with his incredible boddy-popping back-to-front dance routine. Amanda Holden said “I was honestly blown away by that…I think it’s one of the best dance routines we’ve ever had”.
22 year old Tobias from Warminster, in Wiltshire turned is back on a promising career as a football player to pursue his passion as a dancer. His decision came as a big disappointment to his family that eventually caused various rifts to emerge.
Tobias eventually left home to start his dance career with a performing arts diploma at City of Bath college – which led to him winning a scholarship to the prestigious Stella Mann dance school in Bedford.
After graduating, Tobias became a contestant on Living series Dirty Dancing: The Time Of Your Life in 2008, where he performed among the finalists for judges Kelly Brook, Sean Cheesman, Miranda Garrison and Vivian Pressman. Although he did not win the series he was later picked to support Take That on their UK Circus tour.
