Having worked as an entertainer on cruise ships for many years, 34 year old Martin Cabble created his character Kevin Cruise in 2009.
The comedian’s alter ego is the chief host onboard the fictional cruise ship The Fishy Rose, which holds 5,000 passengers and 2,000 crew.
In his Britain’s Got Talent audition, Kevin performed disco classics and West End favourites, sharing tales of life at sea mixed with hip-hop meets Riverdance meets ‘YMCA’ show-stopping routine.
His buoyant energy and infectious humour did not go down well with all the judges. Simon Cowell was not buying any of it.
