The boys from One Direction – Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson – made their debut on  the hit NBC breakfast show, on board a huge double decker London style bus and were greeted by around 4,000 very enthusiastic and loud fans.

The boys were on The Today Show which is one of America’s most watched TV shows, to perform a few tracks as part of  the promotion of the US release of their debut album ‘Up All Night’.

The X Factor stars were clearly surprised and touched by the huge reaction they were getting from their fans. Harry tweeted:

Thank you to @todayshow for having us! And thank you to everyone who turned up to see us…you were sick!! .x

Louis added:

Was amazing to perform on the today show! Wow gonna follow some of you now… Louis ….. Missing the UK big time!!
