Young Apprentice 2011 Week 4: Lewis Roman Fired by Lord Sugar

Lewsi Roman fired by lord sugarLewis Roman has become the latest Young Apprentice candidate to be fired by Lord Sugar.

This week the candidates had to select and sell two new products to the over 50’s at a sales exhibition.

The teams were reshuffled this week by Lord Sugar and despite opposition from Harry M and Harry H on their respective teams, Haya was eventually voted PM on Atomic with James voted as PM on Kinetic.

In the boardroom after a very difficult task, Atomic took £347.42 on the pie makers and £500 on the bird boxes making a total of £847.42
Kinetic took £329.98 on the trolleys and £808.79 on the mini vacuums making a total of £1138.77

For their treat for winning the task, Atomic went off to the London Eye to be entertained by Dynamo the magician, while Kinetic retired to Cafe to figure out where it all went wrong.

After returning to the boardroom, the loosing team tried to justify their positions on the team and in the process Lord Sugar commented: “It’s a real mish mash of messages coming across here.”

When asked by Lord Sugar, Haya decided to bring back Hayley and Lewis due to their sales figures, and she immediately places blame with Lewis and said: “I thought he was very unprofessional and immature, during the pitches to suppliers I felt like his mother trying to control her small child.”

But Hayley turned the tables on her PM and hit back: “I think Haya should be fired. She didn’t respect or take into account any of our opinions about the product.”

Completing the trio of accusations, Lewis suggested that Hayley was in fact culpable: “I think Hayley should be fired as she only sold one unit which suggests she wasn’t passionate and enthusiastic.”

Faced with a tough decision, Lord Sugar weighed up his options before delivering his verdict: “Lewis I admire your bubbly enthusiasm but sometimes I feel like your tongue isn’t engaged with your brain and it needs to be.

“Hayley you’re very articulate in what you do and what you say but I’m not sure whether you have enough power to express yourself above the other strong characters we have in this process.

“Haya what I have learnt over the years is that before being adamant about things you have to listen to other people and it appears to me that you weren’t prepared to move on your decision.

“I have to make a decision and my decision is… Lewis; You’re Fired.”

As he is driven away Lewis said: “Lord Sugar believes in opportunities and he’s given Hayley an opportunity to prove herself. I’ve already proved myself in this competition. ”
