Bethany Rose Harrison and Lee Bridgman have become the two latest dancers to be eliminated from So You Think You Can Dance. The pair were axed by the judging panel in tlast night’s semi final after coming amongst the lowest placed dancers after the public vote.
Bethany Rose and Lee found themselves in the bottom four for alongside Katie Love and Luke Jackson after the top 6 all performed a range of routines including solo dances, duets and as a group.
Following the dance off where we saw a fantastic live performance from Glee star Matthew Morrison, head judge Nigel Lythgoe revealed the results.
On the girls, Nigel told Bethany and Katie: “I won’t make any bones about this, I will say that you two are the two I’d like to see in the final, but Britain has voted. Katie, you know how I feel about Bethany, she’s absolutely fabulous. However tonight has changed my vote and tonight Bethany you will be leaving us.”
Bethany told Cat Deeley after watching her best moments over the series: “I’m going to remember everything. I think everyone knows how strongly I feel about this competition. Thank you for making my dreams come true and thank you and my family for being so supportive.”
Next it was the turn for the boys, with Nigel explaining: “As judges we are unanimous with this decision, you’re both unique dancers, we love you both but the guy leaving us tonight is… Lee.”
Lee told Cat after his exit: “I came into this competition to show you can’t judge a book by its cover and I think that’s what I’ve done.”
Katie, Luke and the rest of the remaining Top 4 will continue on to perform in next weekend’s final show where one of them will be named Britain’s favourite dancer.
