Sam Attwater may have won last night’s Dancing On Ice final, but it would seem that the peoples champion of the seies was Johnson Beharry.

A report had previously suggested that Beharry was winning the most votes from viewers, despite low scores from the judges. Beharry failed to reach the final following his exit in last week’s semi final.

Speaking on ITV’s This Morning, Phillip Schofield confirmed that Beharry had triumphed over his fellow competitors in the first week and had gone on to top the poll a further seven times. The results can be summarised as follows:

Week 1 – Johnson Beharry 28%

Week 2 – Denise Welch 31%

Weeks 3, 4, 5, 6, 6 and 8 – Johnson Beharry

Week 9 – Laura Hamilton 24%

Week 10 – Johnson Beharry

Week 11 – Sam Attwater 30%

Week 12 (FINAL) – First vote Sam Attwater 42% and second vote Sam Attwater 63%
